Frequently asked questions

What would I use your services for?

There are a variety of reasons why someone might want / need external HR council. Topics include but are not limited to:

  • Performance management questions (disciplinary actions, warnings, administrative actions, etc.)
  • Harassment or bullying concerns
  • Job Misalignment / Role Scope creep
  • Preparing to ask for an accommodation
  • Being managed out / Silent firing
  • Layoff rumours or Anticipation
  • Navigating an Investigation
  • Return to work after a leave
  • Microagressions / Bias in the workplace
  • Toxic Team or Leadership Culture
  • Restructuring your own team
  • Managing a problem employee

And many, many more...

Can I stay anonymous?

Absolutely - we understand the sensitivity of these consults and take your privacy seriously.

For those that choose to book a recorded session, the recording will be scrubbed of all identifiable language / terms / locations, etc. and names will be changed to protect those involved.

Private sessions are not recorded and data pertaining to these calls (ie: Elizabeth's notes, follow up email) are kept in a secure file management system, accessible only by Elizabeth.

What follow up is included after the session?

All private sessions include a follow up email highlighting discussion points, next steps and recommended resources.

Follow up sessions are available at a discounted rate. Monthly subscriptions are available by request.

What if I can't afford the private session?

It is very important to us that we remain inclusive and budget shouldn't be a barrier to support. The anonymous recorded sessions are set up on a pay what you can model so you can pay what works for you and still receive the same premium support a private session offers.

Can I re-schedule?

Yes. Re-scheduling is available at no charge up until 24 hours before the scheduled session.

Cancellations/changes within the 24 hour window will be charged the full cost of the session and a refund will not be provided.

Will you tell me what the best thing to do is?

No. Most situations have a number of options or solutions that could work for the caller.

While Elizabeth will not direct anyone on what the best course of action is, she can (and will) help identify what all the options are and then review the risks and benefits of each, equipping you with the information you need to make the decision that is right for you.

Elizabeth also shares her personal lived experiences relevant to the caller's situation, outlining the choices that were made and associated outcomes.

What is your service area?

We service all of North America and the Philippines. Geography is less of a barrier when the legalities are removed because the core HR issues tend to be the same across borders. Our only limitation is language as our services are only available in English at this time.

I was terminated, can you help me?

Probably not. Once you have been terminated, it may be too late for Elizabeth's expertise. An employment lawyer or career transitioning service may be better suited to assist you, but, you can always send us an email to confirm; stories@clockedoutconfessions.com
